Well said epicure57. I note Orphan is into manipulation of the 'thumbs up' system

Perhaps those who are forced to work unsociable hours due to the avarice of their employers might like to have the chance to worship on one day in the year. Despite your best efforts, Orphan, this is still a Christian country. It isn't so long ago that Sunday was a day of rest and families could spend time together instead of trailing round yet another retail establishment.

And I stand by my statement. You don't need a shop to shop. You can shop every second of every day online if you are such an obsessive shopper. You can get help with such addictions these days you know. You can even shop for it online!

You did not answer my question. I am an orphan by dint of outliving my family, none of whom ceased to be due to my attitude. My statement still stands. You can worship 24/7 365 days of the year without interrupting the many thousands who choose not to

Orphan, with views like yours no wonder you are an orphan

Easter should not affect businesses. What has religion got to do with the retail trade? If you want to worship, do so. You need neither a church nor a holiday to indulge in your fantasies.

Reading these opening hours, must one assume that Easter now means nothing at all in Scotland? Perhaps they will declare the closure of shops only when the Blessed Sturgeon passes to her eternal rest.

Easter Monday follows Easter Sunday which is on 16th April. Therefore, Monday is 17th, not 18th!!!
